Working Together... Saving Lives
There is a serious need for two things in the rescue community: communication and education. Our plan for the Sanctuary deals with those two issues in a very simple manner - we will provide the tools necessary for those in rescue work to learn, grow and network in hopes that they will in turn be inspired to teach what they’ve learned in their own community.
The most important element of the URN will be the online databases of information that will be continually updated at our facility. These databases will provide lists of organizations, individuals, donors, volunteers, vendors, veterinarians, suppliers, etc. and their contact information and will be available 24 hours a day to the rescue community via the internet.
Through our continuous contact with suppliers, heavy advertising and regular direct mailings, ForeverHome Sanctuary will aggressively solicit donations. These donations will be warehoused at our facility and distributed to rescue organizations and individuals all over the country. Rescue groups can apply for donations online and access availability of inventory at all times.
With This Network In Place...
•Joe’s Poodle Rescue can go online and find volunteers to help with his Memorial Day Adoptathon... •Little Mews Shelter will have some food donated to help feed their 36 cats over the winter when adoptions are down...
•Michelle Sanchez can convince her neighbor not to declaw their cat by showing her pictures and reading information about the procedure...
•Suzanne Jones can get help paying for the Leukemia testing of a stray she rescued and plans to find a home for...
•John Smith can learn more about the pros and cons of giving his dog a Rabies vaccination...
•Barkin’ Lot dog kennels can find a plumber to fix their sewer that will give them a “rescue rate” on repairs...

There are lots of good people out there, willing to help - give discounts, volunteer time, do pro-bono work, donate supplies, provide information, etc... we just have to ask... and then make a list. We’re positive that the information and links on our site wil prove to be an invaluable tool to rescue organizations nationwide, and will (indirectly) be responsible for saving thousands of lives each year through communication and education.
